Here is some brief information on the wildlife found in Arizona

 Rattlesnake

Found throughout Arizona. Several species. We have seen fewer and fewer over the last several years due to drought. Most snake bites occur from the area of the finger tips to the elbow. Quite tasty.

Gila Monster

Found in many places in Arizona. In over 20 years I have only seen three in the wild. Not a fatal bite but very painful.

Mountain Lion

Large, sometimes dangerous animal. Found usually under 10,000 feet and where caves exist. We have encountered several in cavernous areas. They usually just run away and don't like noise.

Scorpion

Very common in Arizona. Severity of reaction to the bite varies. I was bitten on the foot and it swelled up for a few days, other people have no effect. Various types in Arizona. Easy to avoid by just being careful of where you put your hands.
